Second Sunday Breakfast Ride
BMW NorCal meets for breakfast at 8 AM in different restaurants around the Bay Area usually on the 2nd Sunday each month. After breakfast, around 9 AM, we go for casual ride which normally finishes around 1:00 PM. Sometimes we have a distributed route, sometimes it's "follow-the-leader". The format is casual backyard ride.
Monthly Tours and Camp Outs
BMW NorCal provides members with great opportunities to ride and experience California off the beaten track. We hold our monthly member meeting/campouts on the last full weekend of each month (except December and May) at different campgrounds in the Northern California and Nevada areas. We meet for breakfast and offer a set ride with .gpx route sheets. Riders join us for breakfast and join the tour or ride on their own and meet us at the campout. These monthly camp outs have been described by many as mini-vacations.
Attending one of our events
Anyone properly licenses on a street legal motorcycle with the required insurance is welcome at our events. Drop by our Events tab for more information about upcoming events.Joining the club
BMW NorCal is a riding and camping club. If you want to ride and camp all over California (and sometimes beyond), join us and become more than a bystander.
The fine print:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Own a BMW Motorcycle
- Attend two Membership Meetings or attend the 49er or ROL rallies (register on the Events page.)
- Pay your Membership dues.
